Certifications
✓CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)-American Heart Association Required 180 days from date of hire
✓CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) -American Heart Association-Upon Hire Required or
✓CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)-American Red Cross-Upon Hire Required
✓CRT-Vascular International Radiography (VI) -ARRT-American Register of Radiological Technologist IR Required in 2 years
Education
✓Required Clinical experience required through graduation of one of the above listed programs
Qualifications
✓Required Interventional Radiology requires completion of an accredited radiography program (JRCERT)
✓The incumbent may be required to perform IV starts, prep patients, monitor hemodynamics, operate equipment, document procedures, vascular access site management, and provide patient/family education
✓Required -Basic computer skills, math skills, exceptional communication skills, and outstanding customer service skills
✓Required-Ability to be on site within 30 min for call in tot eh Cath lab IR
Employees being considered for Interventional Radiology it is recommended that they have previous experience as Radiology or Interventional Tech preferred

Under direct supervision, the Associate Special Procedure Tech provides direct care pre, intra, and post for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures to assist physicians and delivers quality patient/family centered care.
