You’ll need
Licensure
✓Licensed in the State of Minnesota as Athletic Trainer or eligible for licensure
Certifications
✓Certification as an athletic trainer by the Board of Certification (BOC)
✓Current Emergency Cardiac Care (CPR/AED Certified)
Education
✓The qualified candidate for this position is responsible for providing athletic training outreach services to local contracted high school(s) with community relationships as needed and directed.
✓Serve as a Certified Athletic Trainer at a local high school(s)
✓Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in Athletic Training
Qualifications
✓Ability to work independently and organize tasks
✓Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions
✓Ability to exhibit flexibility, self-control and maturity in work and behavior
✓Ability to promote Rehab Specialties services
✓Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner
✓Knowledge of basic computer functions and Microsoft Office applications
✓Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations
✓Ability to work autonomously and as a team
✓Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills
✓Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above
