✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Eligible for current hearing aid dispensing license (temporary license is acceptable for first six months only).
Certifications
✓Audiology License.
✓BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
✓Maintains required continuing education requirements for Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing Licenses (currently 20 hrs. biannually for each license).
Education
✓A graduate or postgraduate degree in the area of audiology (MA, MS, Au.D., Sc.D., or Ph.D.).
Qualifications
✓Previous hearing aid dispensing and pediatric audiology experience.
✓Possesses and demonstrates knowledge of Central Auditory Processing Disorders and the assessment of Central Auditory Function utilizing behavioral measures and electrophysiological measures.
✓Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in a hospital setting.
✓Maintains ASHA CCC-A.
