Qualifications
✓ABR, Aural habilitation/rehabilitation (includes treatment services), Auditory Processing, FM systems)
✓Consistently selects, utilizes, and accurately interprets appropriate, testing materials and/ or instrumentation based on presenting needs and department protocols.
✓Seeks input/feedback/questions from patient/ caregivers consistently, utilizing a variety of strategies/ techniques to assure successful communication.
✓Documentation- completed with 5% or less supervision
✓Clinical Documentation: Clinical documentation consistently includes thorough discussion of reason for referral, problem/goals, interpretation of results, progress, and thorough recommendations/plans that consistently follow department protocols.
✓Makes appropriate clinical recommendations and referrals, and consistently follows dept procedures for completing such referrals.
✓Hearing Works documentation consistently includes reason for visit, assessment of problem/concern and plan of action.
✓Clinical documentation is accurate, thorough, and complete at least 85% of the time according to dept standards.
✓Departmental Documentation: Departmental documentation (e.g. HW hours, clinical and HW charge/ day sheets, school billing, PE submission, therapy attendance, etc) is accurate, timely and complete at least 95% of the time.
✓Hearing Works documentation and pricing for services are consistently thorough and accurate according to department standards and guidelines.
✓Consistently counsels patients/caregivers regarding findings, recommendations and/or carry over of therapeutic goals in a clear, concise manner.
✓Shares new applications of clinical knowledge/ skills with fellow staff at least once per year via direct training, group presentations and/or case reviews.
✓Efficiency/ Productivity
✓Always prioritizes and maximizes direct, billable patient care.
✓Demonstrates ability to identify and address challenges, issues or problems, seeking support when needed to ensure a positive outcome or resolution.
✓Minimum of 1 year experience
