POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education Graduate from a school of nursing Minimum Experience Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served in his/her assigned position. Required Registration/License/Certification Alabama Board of Nursing License ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of assignment to the ED BLS Preferred Education BSN Preferred Experience Desirable characteristics include at least two years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment.
