Implements patient-centered care and trauma-informed care. Creates and supports a therapeutic environment for safe treatment implementation. Performs observation rounds on assigned patients, documenting in real time, in order to detect behavior patterns.

Utilizes clear and positive communication skills to assess and provide therapeutic intervention for patients' and families' needs and concerns. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to communicate appropriately, professionally, and effectively with patients and their family, hospital staff, nurses, physicians, and other health care professionalsKnowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the health care industryUp-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and local, state, and national lawsProficiency in computer systems to enter and track patient recordsBasic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft OfficeMust be able to read, write, and speak conversational EnglishEducation:High School Grad or Equiv [Required]Technical/Vocational School [Preferred]Field of Study:In a Social ScienceWork
