Prioritizes clinical problems, formulates treatment goals and facilitates construction of treatment plan, updating based on continuous evaluation and assessment of progress. Formulates discharge plan in collaboration with the multidisciplinary treatment team, the patient and the family.

Plans and conducts individual, group and family therapy with patients and families. Documents patient treatment using Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Consults on clinical issues with physicians, treatment teams, directors, and other department personnel.

Acts as a liaison between patients, hospitals, and community agencies to ensure coordinated care. Provides clinical information and documentation to managed care organizations during precertification and concurrent reviews, advocating for patients based on clinical presentation. Manages crisis situations by quickly appraising the situation and selecting appropriate interventions.

Identifies and intervenes in cases of suspected abuse with sensitivity to age-specific concerns. Assists in the orientation of new team members. Provides high-quality service through positive interpersonal relations and outstanding customer service during all interactions.

Demonstrate working knowledge of involuntary commitment process. Performs other duties as assigned.
