What You’ll DoCreate a Safe & Structured EnvironmentMaintain constant awareness and supervision of clientsConduct safety checks at required intervals following individualized supervision guidelinesPerform contraband checks and manage client valuables and belongingsSupport Client Care & EngagementBuild rapport through daily interactions and observe behaviors, reporting significant changes to your supervisorEncourage participation in recreational and therapeutic activitiesFacilitate educational and rehabilitative groups (social skills, coping skills, anger management, independent living skills)Apply de-escalation techniques to support emotional regulation and positive behaviorAssist with vital signs monitoring and report significant updates to nursing staffPromote Treatment ProgressEngage clients in activities that align with treatment goalsOrient new clients to the program, help them feel connected, and explain available servicesSupport client independence through structured routines and wellness strategiesKeep Things Running SmoothlyAccurately and promptly document all client interactions and observationsAssist with unit cleanliness, organizing new admit charts, filing, and the discharge processSupport transportation needs (directly or through coordination with staff)Provide thorough shift reports to oncoming staff for consistent careEnhance Recreation & ProgrammingHelp plan and implement diverse therapeutic activitiesSet up equipment, manage supplies, and ensure safety rules are followedAdapt activities to meet the needs of various client groupsWe seek talent, qualified employees regardless of race, gender/sex, including pregnancy, gender identity and expression, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, disability, age, marital status, veteran status, or any other protected classification under state or federal law.
