The Billing Rep I performs all functions necessary to obtain timely reimbursement or resolve claim issues. The position works toward meeting productivity and quality audit standards and must operate as a team player within the department and demonstrate and adhere to Baptist Health's beliefs, mission, and values. Other information: HS Diploma or GED equivalent is required Billing and collections for a medical practice or physician including ICD-10 and CPT coding.
Ability to read and understand billing policies and obtain information from variety of resources. Ability to use a computer and various software, and navigate websites to accomplish set goals. Work with a positive attitude with patients, families, coworkers, leadership, payors and other internal and external Customers.
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
