Collaborates with oncology physician offices, infusion centers, and radiation oncology offices to schedule patients, negotiating date and time while avoiding resource conflicts. Works closely with infusion center and radiation oncology leaders to maximize utilization of nursing and technician time, productivity, and resources. Coordinates special procedure needs with appropriate departments, staff, and external resources.

Ensures patients starting chemotherapy or radiation therapy are scheduled for education prior to their first appointment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to use discretion when discussing personnel/patient related issues that are confidential in nature, responsive to ever-changing matrix of healthcare departments and hospital needs and acts accordingly. [Required]Mature judgment in dealing with patients, physicians, and insurance representatives. [Required]Ability to be responsive and able to perform without close supervision. [Required]Ability to listen and document notes simultaneously. [Required]Intermediate knowledge of personal computer applications and proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneNote. [Required]Education:High School Grad or Equiv [Required]Field of Study:In business or health related field.
