You’ll need
Certifications
✓Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
✓Current certification as a Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS).
Education
✓High school diploma.
Qualifications
✓At least two years of experience as a Cardiac Catheterization Technician.
✓Thorough knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
✓Visual acuity, manual dexterity, and accuracy necessary to perform technical duties.
✓Independent judgment and initiative when using specialized equipment and working within a complex clinical environment.
✓Ability to take overnight and weekend call.
Electrophysiology laboratory experience. preferred

About the role
Under the direction of physicians and nursing staff, the Cardiac Catheterization Technician II supports patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures. Responsibilities include patient education, sterile preparation, electrocardiograms, hemodynamic monitoring and recording, and technical assistance during cardiac procedures.
