Monitors patients during stress tests for any adverse reactions. Observes EKG for changes in heart rhythm and responds appropriately. Completes stress tests by achieving desired outcomes according to testing standards.
Enters testing results accurately into electronic health records. Maintains and calibrates stress testing equipment. Educates patients on the stress testing procedure and addresses any concerns.
Collaborates with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and accurate test results. Follows established protocols and guidelines for stress testing. Documents patient information and test results thoroughly.
Ensures a clean and safe testing environment. Operates stress equipment to conduct stress tests on patients. Hooks patients up to a 12-lead EKG monitor for stress tests.
