About the Job MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Cardiology Hospitalist to join our collaborative cardiovascular team in Baltimore, Maryland. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice inpatient cardiology in a well-established program while working alongside experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), cardiologists, surgeons, intensivists, and multidisciplinary care teams.

Position Highlights The Cardiology Hospitalist will provide comprehensive inpatient cardiovascular care, including: Managing inpatient cardiology services in collaboration with APPs Performing inpatient consultations, Rounding on hospitalized cardiology patients Coordinating care with interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, hospitalists, and other specialists Caring for patients with complex cardiovascular conditions Participating in quality improvement initiatives and efforts to optimize patient care delivery Contributing to physician and staff education Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease Echocardiography, and Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) training required Strong clinical expertise in the management of complex cardiac patients Excellent communication and collaboration skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams Eligible to work in the United States A demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care Compensation & Benefits MedStar Health offers a highly competitive employed physician package, including: Competitive compensation Annual clinical productivity target with generous paid time off Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage for physicians and eligible dependents 403(b) retirement plan with employer matching 457(b) deferred compensation plan Why MedStar Franklin Square?
