Resolves customer service issues within guidelines and supports education to clinical staff. Adheres to all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and accrediting bodies, protecting patient information confidentiality. Follows and enforces safety policies, including the use of PPE, handwashing, and hazardous chemical handling.

Manages daily operations, functioning as a resource to team members, solving day-to-day issues, assisting patient flow, and ensuring quality care. Provides effective communication to staff and department administration, including documentation, counseling, and disciplinary actions. Ensures appropriate daily and on-call staffing, managing labor expenses in accordance with the department budget.

Oversees resources to ensure there is an appropriate inventory of supplies to support caseload in accordance with the departmental budget. Responsible for overall quality of customer service and patient safety. Actively participates, facilitates, and documents department-approved key process improvement indicators.

Participates in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives to ensure overall employee satisfaction. Completes employee performance reviews according to institutional guidelines, providing constructive feedback to employees as applicable. Assists in teaching new staff and students when assigned.
