Associate Degree in Applied Science required orCompletion of an accredited program in cardiovascular technology (Must obtain RCIS within six (6) months) required orHigh school diploma or equivalent with two (2) years’ work experience in invasive cardiology required

• One (1) year vascular or cardiac angiography experience preferred or
• Two (2) years’ experience with high school diploma required
• Two (2) years Cath Lab experience strongly preferred Licensure and

ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire required andGMRT-General Medical Radiologic Technologist (if ARRT only) upon hire preferred orRCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Obtain within 6 months if graduate from Cardiovascular Accredited Program) upon hire required andLMRT - Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (if RCIS only) upon hire preferred orRCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (For Electrophysiology Labs (EP) only) upon hire required andBCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) required andACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) required
