Cashier – Outtakes Coffee Shop – Memorial Hospital

• Responsible for clerical and money management tasks as they relate to operating a cash register in a retail setting. Responsibilities
• Operate a cash register. Maintain attention to detail work, customer service and interaction.
• Able to make and count change accurately during heavy and/or low volume customer traffic flow.
• Perform stocking duties of assigned areas.
• Perform verification of beginning and ending cash counts. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Patient Group Knowledge (Only applies to positions with direct patient contact) The employee must possess/obtain (by the end of the orientation period) and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment or care as defined by the department’s identified patient ages. Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients. Competency Statement Must demonstrate competency through an initial orientation and ongoing competency validation to independently perform tasks and additional duties as specified in the job description and the unit/department specific competency checklist. • High School Diploma or GED (Required)

6 - 12 Months related experience in office/clerical or food service setting Substitution: Graduate of applicable technical school program or 8th grade education and 5 years related experience may substitute for 6 - 12 months related experience or HS/GED Credentials • Food Handlers Card (Required) Within 30 days of hireWithin 30 days of hire Work
