✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse either in the state where the facility is located or in a state covered by a licensure compact agreement with the state where the facility is located.
✓Graduate Nurses will have 120 days from graduation to obtain the RN License
Certifications
✓CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
UPMC approved national certification preferred.
Education
BSN preferred.

About the role

The CIRU is a unit with 13 private rooms, dedicated to providing collaborative rehabilitative services (OT/PT/Speech) for individuals with physical, functional, swallowing, communication, or cognitive impairments. The CIRU uses an interdisciplinary team approach to patient services and provides 24-hour rehabilitation nursing care to all patients.
