✓Leadership and facilitation skills; ability to interact appropriately with managers/departments to facilitate process development and quality improvement. [Required]
✓Strong organizational, communication, and customer-relations skills; ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations. [Required]
✓Skilled in providing age-appropriate cancer genetic counseling and education. [Required]
✓Skilled and comfortable in discussing outcomes of genetic testing. [Required]
Knowledge of navigating in an Electronic Medical Record (Athena, Cerner, Epic). [Preferred]
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access. [Preferred]
Program development skills. [Preferred]
1+ year of prior experience as a genetic counselor [Preferred]
