✓Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment: AHA BLS HCP Certification or equivalent
Education
✓One (1) year of medical assistant work experience within the last three (3) years if the individual is not a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.
✓No prior work experience required if the individual is a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.
✓High School Diploma or equivalent
Graduation from a Medical Assisting training program from an accredited program of study such as the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). preferred
Qualifications
✓Previous experience using a personal computer and various software applications, including Microsoft, e-mail, etc.
✓Medical Assistants work all three shifts, weekends and, holidays.
✓Individual shift rotation and schedules will be established, with your specific Nurse Manager/Practice Manager.
✓Schedules, including requirements of shift rotations, and hours of work may be adjusted as necessary to meet clinic, requirements and/or as needed.
