As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in coordinating and assisting providers to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and cost-effective patient care.

• Coordinate patient care while supporting providers during examinations and procedures.Prepare patients for appointments by obtaining vital signs, documenting medical histories, and updating health records.Perform clinical and administrative duties to ensure efficient daily operations.Assist with patient education, medication administration (as permitted), and follow-up care instructions.Collaborate with providers and care team members to promote quality outcomes and an exceptional patient experience.Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).Uphold infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory standards while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. What We're Looking ForEducation: High School Diploma or GED, required. Candidates will provide proof of current certification from one of the approved certifying registries including:
• CMA with the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
• CCMA with the National Health Career Association (NHA)
• RMA with the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
• American Registry of Medical Assistants (NHCWA)
• National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
• National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)
• American Allied Health (AAH) RMA with the American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA). If a candidate is not currently certified, they must obtain certification or registration by the end of the sixth month of their hire and sign an education agreement.

Previous work in a medical office, preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire as CMA, RMA or CCMA, required. Current State Drivers License (Palliative Care Only), required.
