Responsibilities **To move forward int he process, you must have 1 year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant** **If you are bilingual in Spanish, you are encouraged to apply!*** Greet patients, obtain vital signs, and prepare them for examinations and procedures Assist providers with routine treatments and patient care needs Administer medications and injections as permitted by certification and clinic policy Update patient records, document clinical information, and maintain accurate medical histories Coordinate prescription refills, lab results, referrals, and follow-up appointment Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school for Medical Assistants, Surgical Technologists, or one year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician clinic setting Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained current Current medical assistant credential from a nationally recognized Medical Assistant Credentialing organization required 1 year experience as a medical assistant in a clinic setting, preferred Full benefits at Prime Healthcare: https://www.primehealthcare.com/careers/benefits/ #LI-SB4 Employment Status Full Time Shift Days Equal Employment Opportunity Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
