Certified Medical Assistant - Ortho & Sports Medicine

Monday- Friday, 7:30 am- 5:00pm Novant Health Ortho & Sports Medicine Clinic is seeking a Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our patient-centered team. In this role, you will coordinate and assist providers in delivering safe, high-quality, and cost-effective care to patients within our practice population. The CMA will room patients, referrals, setting up injections, authorizations, bracing, paperwork, wound dressing, taking staples out, sutures , and answering mychart messagesAssist with patient intake, vital signs, documentation, and clinical procedures. Coordinate patient care activities to ensure a seamless patient experience. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Foster positive relationships with patients, families, providers, and team members. Contribute to a culture of safety, service excellence, and continuous improvement. What We're Looking ForEducationHigh School Diploma or GED required.

ExperiencePrevious experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred. Current State Driver’s License required for Palliative Care positions only. Additional QualificationsDemonstrated ability to successfully complete organizational, departmental, and role-specific competency assessments. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
