✓Certified Medical Assistants work all three shifts, weekends and holidays.
Education
✓One (1) year of medical assistant work experience within the last three (3) years if individual is not a graduate of a medical assistant program
✓No work experience if individual is a graduate of a medical assistant program
✓High School Diploma or equivalent
Graduation from a Medical Assisting training program from an accredited program of study such as the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). preferred
Qualifications
✓Previous experience using a personal computer and various software applications, including Microsoft, e-mail, etc.
✓Demonstrated experience utilizing strong organizational, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
✓Individual shift rotation and schedules will be established with your specific Nurse Manager/Practice Manager.
✓Schedules, including requirements of shift rotations and hours of work may be adjusted as necessary to meet clinic requirements and/or as needed.
Two (2) to three (3) years of previous experience as a Certified Medical Assistant preferred
Previous experience in an academic health care environment preferred
