The ED handles a high patient volume, averaging 190 to 240 visits daily, and provides comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, from infants to geriatrics. Common cases include, but are not limited to, cardiac emergencies, respiratory conditions, non-compliant COPD, diabetic crises, and behavioral health concerns. Remarkable Care.

Emergency Department Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)As an Emergency Department Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you'll play a vital role in supporting the healthcare team while providing compassionate, hands-on care to patients in a fast-paced emergency setting. Working alongside registered nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, you'll help ensure patients receive timely, high-quality care from the moment they arrive in the Emergency Department.
What We're Looking ForEducation: High school diploma, required. Completion of NAI program, required.
One year of relevant experience, preferred. One year required, Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted livingLicensure/Certification: Completion of NAI program, Required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, Required.
Medication Safety - AME, Required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, Required. Additional skills preferred: Basic computer skills for documentation.
