Certifications
✓ABC Certified Orthotic & Prosthetic Technician (CTPO) credential or eligibility to obtain certification within an established timeframe.
✓Minimum of two years of orthotic and prosthetic fabrication experience under the supervision of a certified practitioner.
✓ABC Certified Orthotic & Prosthetic Technician (CTPO) Licensed Orthotic Fitter or ABC Certified Orthotic Fitter (COF)
Education
✓High School Diploma or GED.
Qualifications
✓Successful completion of an accredited Orthotic and Prosthetic Technician training pathway or equivalent experience.
✓Experience training technicians, residents, and students.
✓Experience supporting inpatient acute-care hospitals and trauma services.
✓Experience participating in evening, weekend, and holiday call schedules.
✓Experience with digital scanning, CAD/CAM, and advanced fabrication technologies.
Preferred Qualifications: Three or more years of advanced orthotic and prosthetic fabrication experience.
