The Certified Pathologist Assistant is responsible for preparation, gross description, and dissection of human tissue surgical specimens under the direction and supervision of a licensed, boar certified pathologist. They will ensure the provision of high- quality services in accordance with the Medical Center and regulatory requirements. QualificationsREQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree in science (Biology, Chemistry)Completion of NAACLS accredited Pathologist Assistant ProgramLicensure/ Certification:ASCP Certification (PA - Pathologist Assistant) or must obtain within 1 year of hireOther Skills/ Knowledge:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
