The Role As a Charge Nurse in Pediatric Infusion and Specialty Clinics, you will function as both a clinical expert and an on ‑ the ‑ ground leader. You will drive daily operations while remaining closely connected to patient care, particularly for children receiving infusion therapies and specialty services, including oncology treatments.
In this fast‑paced ambulatory environment, you will balance patient care responsibilities with operational oversight, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality care delivery. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing or currently enrolled in an accredited nursing BSN/MSN program that will be completed within 5 years of hire.
RN Clinician 2 or higher who has been employed on the unit for 6 months or has had previous Charge Nurse experience from another unit/organization.
Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling and bending/stooping.
Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease. The pay range for this role is $46.08 - $61.00 hourly.
Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
