Accountable to the clinical director for the day to day operations of the nursing unit. Assists the clinical director in administrative management; organization, planning, directing, and development of the nursing unit(s). Assists clinical director in development of staffing plan for annual budget, and provides input for non-salary budget.
Provides administrative coverage in the absence of the clinical director This position requires a minimum formal education of a bachelor’s degree preferably in nursing, and a minimum of 5 years job related experience or, is actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree. Demonstrates excellent communication skills. Demonstrates excellent leadership skills and ability to coach, mentor and influence.
