Part-Time 24 hrs/week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 8am - 4:30pm Delivers professional nursing care in non-acute, outpatient, and community settings as part of an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation; case management and coordination with providers; patient and family education, supportive counseling, medication monitoring, and crisis intervention as appropriate; and maintenance of a safe, therapeutic environment using trauma-informed, therapeutic communication.

Utilizes critical thinking in making independent judgement, and maintains responsibility and accountability for the knowledge of conditions of assigned patients. Assesses needs of patients and families, providing appropriate teaching and making the necessary referrals to provide continuity of care. Graduate of an accredited nursing program. SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) training preferred.
One year nursing experience required . Pediatric nursing experience preferred. License(s)/Certification(s): Current RN licensure in good standing with the State of Iowa.
