Clinical Coordinator- Operating Room

What We OfferClinical Coordinator at Brunswick Medical Center – Operating Room We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Clinical Coordinator to support our Operating Room department during the day shift. This leadership role is responsible for supporting daily unit operations, assisting nursing staff, and ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. Provides clinical and administrative leadership at the unit level.

Support and supervise nursing staff during shift operationsAssist with patient flow, staffing coordination, and unit supportPromote quality patient care and patient satisfactionProvide leadership support and assist with conflict resolution and de-escalation when neededServe as a resource for team members and collaborate with interdisciplinary teamsMaintain effective communication with staff, patients, and leadershipLocation DetailsLocation: Brunswick Medical CenterSchedule: Full-TimeShift: 6:45am-5:15pm, hours may flex

Assists the Nurse Manager with continuous quality improvementPersonnel utilizationPerformance appraisalsResource usage Budget managementMaintenance of standards of care Able to provide care to patients on designated units. What We're Looking ForEducation: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. BSN, preferred.

Graduate Degree, preferred.

Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience, preferred. Prior demonstrated nursing leadership, preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.

NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications. Additional Skills (required): Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
