You’ll need
Licensure
✓Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the Kentucky State Board of Pharmacy (or must be Kentucky licensed within 90 days of employment).
Education
✓B.S. or Pharm. D. degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
✓Bachelors (required)
Qualifications
✓Must provide evidence of meeting state mandated continuing education requirements upon request.
✓[Kentucky, United States] Pharmacists
✓Has broad working knowledge of the practice of pharmacy.
✓Analyzes and interprets complicated information.
✓Determines a course of action based on general guidelines.
✓May modify existing forms, procedures, or methods.
✓May use highly sophisticated equipment requiring extensive training. Individual must remain current in his-her knowledge of drugs, therapeutics, and drug delivery systems.
✓Must be able to see with corrective eyewear.
✓Must be able to hear clearly with assistance.
✓Physical/Environmental Demands
✓Lifting - 0-50 lbs, 50 or more with assistance
✓Carrying - 0-50 lbs, 50 or more with assistance
✓Pulling - Up to 100 lbs
✓Pushing - Up to 100 lbs
Previous hospital pharmacy experience is highly desirable. preferred
Previous pharmacy computer experience desirable. preferred
