Some college work in life sciences desirable. preferred
Qualifications
✓Maintain professional working relationships at all times, with the pharmacy personnel, physicians, nurses, and other medical personnel.
✓Understand the requirements of working in a pharmacy are varied and may change as demands on the department change.
✓Be available to the customer/patients at all times.
✓Maintain friendly and helpful attitude at all times when dealing with customers.
✓Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
✓Works with pharmacy team to ensure best practices are being followed with regards to 340B
✓Ability to organize work priorities and meet specific objective under time constraints
✓Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
✓Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to interact with persons of varying backgrounds and education level
✓Ability to identify and address the needs of different patient age groups and effectively communicate with those patients
✓Knowledgeable in computer applications, calculations, basic medical terminology, filling of medication orders
✓Demonstrates knowledge and proper use of equipment necessary to perform job function
✓High levels of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
✓Must be able to see with corrective eyewear.
✓Must be able to hear clearly with assistance.
