Position Details:Clinical Pharmacy Specialist - Ambulatory Care📍 Mercy Springfield | Springfield, MORequirements & QualificationsEducationDoctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited School of PharmacyLicensureCurrent Pharmacist license in the state of practiceMissouri pharmacists must obtain a Medication Therapy Services Certificate within 90 days of hireExperienceMinimum of 5 years of active clinical practice in a specialty areaAmbulatory Care experience strongly preferredCertificationsActive Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) Certification preferred, ideally within specialty practice areaCandidates eligible to sit for the certification exam will also be consideredPreferred QualificationsFive or more years of advanced clinical pharmacy experienceCompletion of residency training preferredExperience serving as a clinical preceptor for pharmacy students and residentsRecent scholarly activity, including:Poster presentation at a state or national meeting within the last two years, and/orPublication in a state or national journalTeaching appointment with an affiliated healthcare college (pharmacy, nursing, medicine, or related field) preferredBe Part of Something GreaterAt Mercy, we believe healing begins with compassionate care and clinical excellence.

As a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist - Ambulatory Care, you will work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize medication therapy, improve patient outcomes, and serve as an expert resource for patients and healthcare professionals.
