Licensure
✓Must have and maintain current licensure in the State of Rhode Island.
Certifications
✓Must have and maintain credentials required for clinical area, which may include ACLS, BLS, and NRP. (If, NRP is required for clinical area, must obtain instructor status within the first year of employment).
✓Certification in specialty area is required or must be achieved within the first year of employment.
Education
✓Master’s degree in healthcare field required
✓Bachelor of Science in Nursing with work-in-progress toward MSN degree will be considered.
Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) preferred
Qualifications
✓A minimum of five to seven years demonstrated progressive nursing leadership or education roles required.
✓Membership in professional nursing organization required or must be achieved within the first year of employment.
✓Excellent human relations, verbal, and written communication skills required.
✓Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation computer software required.
Clinical Nurse Specialist preferred.
Teaching experience is highly desirable. preferred
