As our Clinical Secretary, you will provide essential non-clinical support and comfort to patients and staff, assisting other members of the healthcare team with providing basic patient care under the direction of a Staff Nurse.

and Responsibilities As our Clinical Secretary, you will provide essential non-clinical support and comfort to patients and staff, assisting other members of the healthcare team with providing basic patient care under the direction of a Staff Nurse. Every day you will support daily unit operations by assisting with patient comfort needs, transporting patients, performing light cleaning, stocking supplies, and relaying messages to nurses to ensure an organized environment.

To be successful in this role, you will exhibit a helpful, compassionate demeanor, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining unit efficiency and team support within a dynamic healthcare setting. Schedules patient appointments, which include initial, recheck, pre-op, radiology, lab, etc. Updates schedule changes and performs necessary rescheduling of patients.
