Perform comprehensive clinical review of incoming malignant hematology referrals. Prioritize referrals according to established disease-specific triage criteria. Ensure patients are matched with the appropriate malignant hematology subspecialist.
Facilitate expedited scheduling of urgent and high-acuity cases. Coordinate collection of required medical records and diagnostic information prior to consultation. Serve as a clinical liaison between referring providers, scheduling teams, and treating clinicians.
Improve referral throughput and reduce administrative burden on, clinic nurses, physicians and advanced practice providers. Support timely patient access and enhance the overall patient and referring provider experience. What We're Looking ForEducation: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Required.
Three to five years of nursing experience, required. Two years of experience in care of targeted patient population; experience in a broad range of clinical situations or settings, preferred. Licensure/Certification: RN, required.
