The Patient Care Technician/Certified Nursing Assistant (PCT/CNA) provides appropriate safe basic care to patients which includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with activities of daily living, specimen collection, and observation of patients for physical/emotional changes. Other duties include recording pertinent information in patient charts, communicating with other Patient Care Team members to ensure continuity of care, and may function in a role providing constant supervision to patients as needed.

Duties may vary according to department expectations and needs. QualificationsREQUIRED

-Licenses/Certifications: CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant-Other Licenses/Certifications: CPR American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS

-Education: High School Diploma or GED-Experience: Six months experience in a clinical healthcare environment Six months experience in supporting physical, emotional and psycho-social needs of patients OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
