You’ll need
Licensure
✓Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
Education
✓Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
Qualifications
✓Demonstration of performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, the Nurse Practice Act and the mission and goals of Community Health Network; demonstration of skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation and management of resources.
✓1 year of acute care experience required. Minimum of 3 years of CVICU experience strongly preferred with at least 2 years of precepting experience.
✓Excellent communication/team skills.
✓Compassionate and caring.
✓Self-directed.
EPIC experience is a plus. preferred

About the role
The Consultation Nurse responds to situations in the hospital where a patient is showing signs of clinical deterioration. This position will be responsible for monitoring, evaluating and rounding on all patients in the hospital outside of ICU.
