Job Summary and Qualifications The Coordinator of Infection Prevention promotes and delivers high quality, patient-centered care by assisting with the administration of Infection Prevention policies, procedures and programs.
As a member of the Infection Prevention program and team, t h e Coordinator i dentifies , investigates, reports, and monitors the incidence of nosocomial infections among patients and personnel , and implements policies and procedures to prevent cross-contamination. The Coordinator is also responsible for assisting with in service programs related to infection prevention and infection control , and with the clinical aspects of the Employee Health Program, including pre-employment processing, occupational health testing and surveillance. What qualifications you will need: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (RN) Registered Nurse (CIC) Certified in Infection Control must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date Bachelors Degree No
