✓Requirements
Licensure
✓All CT Technologist working in NY facilities performing contrast media injection are required to have received certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and be Licensed through the New York State Department
✓Must obtain CT Board Certification within 18 months of hire date.
Certifications
✓Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited CNMT program.
✓Must hold registry in each specialty.
✓ARRT certified as a CT Technologist with active certification in second specialty.
✓Must maintain 2 imaging registries/certifications and maintain competency in both as required by hiring Business Unit. ? Must be willing and demonstrate flexibility to be assigned to any of the maintained registries by leadership.
✓Must provide flexibility to work least one off-shift (evening, nights or weekend), every 90 days as requested by imaging leadership. ? CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
