✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Direct supervision by a licensed radiologic technologist is required.
Certifications
✓ARRT certification required.
✓Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
✓ARRT registry-eligible candidates are welcome to apply and must obtain ARRT certification within six months of hire .
✓CT certification must be obtained within 18 months of obtaining a primary ARRT registry or within 18 months of hire if a primary registry has already been earned.
✓Graduates of accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology programs must obtain NMTCB (CNMT) certification within six months of hire .
✓Current ARRT (R) or NMTCB/CNMT certification required, or eligibility to obtain certification within the required timeframe.
✓Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification required, or must be obtained within 30 days of hire in accordance with AHA standards.
CT certification or eligibility preferred.
Education
✓Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Qualifications
✓Minimum of six months of relevant CT experience required.
✓Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.
✓Minimum of six months of CT experience required.
✓Strong technical, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
✓Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
✓Temporary Permit Holders
✓Candidates practicing under a temporary permit are encouraged to apply. While working under a temporary permit:
✓Administration of IV contrast and participation in contrast-enhanced CT procedures requiring IV contrast are not permitted.
✓ARRT certification must be obtained within 180 days of permit issuance.
✓Successful candidates must obtain and maintain all required certifications and clearances, including:
✓Act 31 Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting

About the role

As a CT Technologist, you will perform advanced imaging procedures with minimal supervision while delivering exceptional patient care and producing high-quality diagnostic images.

What you’ll do
Performing computed tomography proceduresPerforming computed tomography procedures using established imaging protocols, including contrast administration
Utilizing advanced CT equipmentUtilizing advanced CT equipment for image acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation
Independently adjusting protocols andIndependently adjusting protocols and applying sound clinical judgment to obtain optimal diagnostic images
Administering oral, rectal, andAdministering oral, rectal, and IV contrast in accordance with physician orders and department policies
Demonstrating proficiency in venipunctureDemonstrating proficiency in venipuncture and power injector usage
