Department Support Coordinator (Charge Capture)

The ECC Department Support Coordinator (Charges) is responsible for reviewing and validating Emergency Care Center (ECC) facility charges to ensure accurate, compliant, and complete charge capture across the health system. This position performs concurrent and retrospective audits of emergency department encounters, validates facility level assignments, enters and reconciles injection and infusion charges, identifies missed revenue opportunities, and supports charging compliance initiatives.

The position serves as a liaison between ECC Operations, Revenue Integrity, Coding, Patient Financial Services, and clinical operations to promote accurate reimbursement and regulatory compliance.
