Diagnosis-Related Group (DRG) Coding Analyst - Remote

Healthcare Administration
✓Requirements
Certifications
✓ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding experience and/or certification
AAPC or AHIMA coding credential (CCS, CPC, RHIT, or RHIA) preferred
Qualifications
✓4+ years of experience as a subject matter expert in a corporate coding leadership role supporting large multi-site healthcare organizations with at least 35 coding staff members, including remote, domestic, global, internal, and contracted resources
✓4+ years of recent DRG or inpatient coding experience
✓4+ years of experience partnering with CDI and Quality leadership to improve reimbursement and coding accuracy
✓4+ years of experience with computer-assisted coding technologies and EMR coding workflows
✓Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
✓All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy
Proven operational knowledge of healthcare-related federal and state regulations, as well as standards from regulatory agencies and accrediting organizations (e.g., CMS, TJC) preferred
Ability to influence change and serve as a change agent preferred
Ability to work in a matrixed environment with clients preferred
