You’ll need
Certifications
✓Registered or registry eligible by America Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or American Radiologic Technology in ultrasound (ARRT ultrasound) and obtain valid certification within 24 months of graduation from an approved ultrasound training program or completion of approved cross
✓Addendums are required for 0153 Nurse Leader, 0249 Registry RN, 0252 Registered Nurse, 0235 Advanced Registered Nurse, and 0236 Expert Registered Nurse.
Education
✓Satisfactory completion of formal technology training.
Qualifications
✓Previous experience in ultrasound preferred, but not required, or previous experience in a similar role.
✓Must be able to lift 50 lbs., 100 lbs. shared lifting.
✓Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
✓Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications.
✓Must be able to take call.
✓Demonstrate ability to multi‐task and work independently using critical thinking skills.

About the role
Operates diagnostic sonography equipment and performs diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with department policy and procedures. Operates within the "Practice Standards" and "Code of Ethics" of the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. Works together with physicians to perform a variety of specialized procedures.
