Education
✓Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Education, Management, or related field (required).
✓Experience supporting or overseeing accredited Graduate Medical Education programs and accreditation requirements (preferred).
Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Education, Public Health, or related (preferred).
Qualifications
✓Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in Graduate Medical Education, academic medicine, medical education administration, healthcare administration, or a closely related field (required).
✓Three (3) years of leadership experience with responsibility for programs, operations, and/or professional staff (required).
✓Advanced knowledge of Graduate Medical Education administration, ACGME Institutional and Program Requirements, accreditation standards, and academic healthcare operations.
✓Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership across multiple residency and fellowship programs within a complex healthcare organization.
✓Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to lead managers, Program Directors, and multidisciplinary professional teams.
✓Knowledge of GME finance, budgeting, resource allocation, program funding, and long-range operational planning.
✓Ability to evaluate accreditation findings, program performance, educational outcomes, and organizational data and translate findings into effective action plans.
✓Strong understanding of institutional accreditation, Annual Institutional Review, program evaluation, special review, and continuous improvement processes.
✓Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with executive leaders, physicians, faculty, academic institutions, legal partners, regulatory bodies, and participating training sites.
✓Strong strategic planning, organizational development, project management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
✓Excellent written, verbal, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
✓Ability to manage multiple complex priorities and exercise sound judgment in sensitive, high-impact, and confidential matters.
✓Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, residency management systems, accreditation reporting systems, and other educational technologies.
