Qualifications
✓Maintain a pulse on clinical practice; understand care processes in all service areas and provide point of care leadership as required to support the staff.
✓Operational & Financial Stewardship
✓Financial Stabilization: Under the guidance of the CEO, plan and monitor the financial activities of all designated departments to address current financial struggles and achieve sustainability.
✓Budgetary Execution: Prepare and manage the annual operating budget, capital allocation plans (including medical equipment/monitoring), and labor productivity.
✓Ancillary Oversight: As the senior onsite leader, provide administrative support and accountability for non-nursing functions including Pharmacy, Plant Services, and the Business Office.
✓Efficiency & Improvement: Utilize process improvement methods to create safe, efficient workflows; champion just culture and C.A.R.E.S. behaviors to drive operational excellence.
✓Human Resources & Talent Development
✓Workforce Stabilization: Lead recruitment and retention efforts following key retirements (Administration, Radiology); build a culture of transparency to boost morale.
✓Professional Development: Direct all human resource activities for the campus; coach and mentor department leaders to build a robust internal leadership pipeline.
✓Conflict Resolution: Serve as the final onsite authority for conflict resolution among staff, physicians, and patients, facilitating effective communication between all parties.
