The Director of Surgical Services provides oversight for day-to-day operations of the surgery department. They are responsible for the overall direction and management of the surgical services area, including pre-op, PACU, Operating room, central processing department, as well as the orthopedic and general surgery outreach clinics. The Director of Surgical Services ensures that the department and its resources are managed in accordance with RLMC’s Mission, Vision, and Values and in compliance with regulatory organizations, external accrediting agencies and licensing bodies.
Current MN RN license BLS and ACLS Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field At least 3 years working in a surgery department
CNOR Certification Master’s degree in nursing or related field preferred. At least 3 years of previous management experience Licenses and Certifications Registered Nurse (required) Advance Cardiac Life (required) Basic Life Support (required)
