Education
✓Current University of Arkansas System employees, including student employees and graduate assistants, need to log in to Workday via MyApps.
✓ALA-accredited Master’s degree in Library/Information Science or Archival Studies plus seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in archives and/or special collections required.
Qualifications
✓Demonstrated knowledge of archival practices, collection management, preservation, research services, and digital collections.
✓Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
✓Strong independent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
✓Ability to establish priorities and independently manage departmental operations.
✓Adept at collaborating with donors, researchers, faculty, staff, administrators, alumni, and external organizations.
✓Skill to develop exhibits, presentations, publications, and public programming.
✓Ability to be flexible and creative in response to changing needs and priorities.
✓This position is subject to pre-employment screening (criminal background, drug testing, and/or education verification).
