Vocational Training Specific Coursework: Cardiovascular Sonography Program Preferred
Bachelor of ScienceRequired Licensure/Certification:Within one (1) year of hire or transfer must have one (1) of the following
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT): Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS), Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)Preferred Licensure/Certification: Registered in Echo and Vascular Required
1-2 years' experience in hospital, clinic, or physician office Necessary
1. Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills2. Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology3.
Maintain patient and staff confidentiality4. Serves as a resource for other departments5. Serves as a role model for all personnel in department. 6.
Interacts with families, patients, physicians Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups
