Qualifications
✓Uses the nursing process, critical thinking skills, professional judgment, and the attributes of Careful Nursing to provide care for the patient population in an ambulatory setting:
✓Assesses patient needs to determine care requirements.
✓Included in the patient assessment are the history, vitals and any other pertinent tasks to allow the physician to complete the physical exam.
✓Knowledgeable administers prescribed medications and immunizations as ordered by the treating physician/practitioner.
✓Plans care and delegates tasks to ancillary personnel based on patient assessment.
✓Evaluates patient response to care provided and makes changes in plan for care as needed.
✓Discusses patient progress, problems and needs with physician, company representative, case manager, and multidisciplinary team members on a regular basis to ensure that goals are achieved for the episodic event.
✓Uses supplies in a cost effective and efficient manner, and works with the management team to make unit supply level adjustments, additions and revisions

Two to three years of experience in a clinic or Emergency Room setting preferred.
Experience in Occupational or Industrial Medicine preferred.
